Early last Monday morning, five Wisconsin teenagers were injured after fireworks exploded in the car that they were traveling in.
Police believe that the teens, all 17 year-old males, were lighting fireworks and throwing them out of the car when the explosion accident happened.
The teenager who was driving the motor vehicle was able to drive the car to a nearby hospital, the Mayo Clinic Health System. Four of the teenagers were airlifted to other hospitals for treatment.
The teenagers’ conditions are unknown at this time.
